We are proud to have a state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratory within our hospital. If your pet becomes ill, digital radiography allows us to obtain immediate radiographic results, leading to a quicker diagnosis and treatment plan for your pet. When needed, we also utilize the comprehensive diagnostic support of a nationally known veterinary laboratory and in most cases receive results within 24 hours. Our doctors have immediate access to this laboratory’s numerous veterinary pathologists and specialists whenever they want to consult or get a second opinion.

When your pet needs x-rays, our digital radiography equipment guarantees the highest quality films in the shortest amount of time. Our doctors will be able to review these films with you on the computer screen in every exam room, and your pet’s radiographs will be stored safely in our database so that they can be accessed at any time.

If your pet is referred to an emergency hospital, or to a specialist, digital imaging ensures that the referral veterinarian will have current radiographs in-hand when they meet your pet. We can easily provide you with a copy of your pet’s films on a disc, or e-mail them directly to the specialist.
