Because we love our pets unconditionally, we want to feed them a safe and balanced diet. But how does one do this when being bombarded on a daily basis with pet food recalls, as well as new foods hitting the market that are often making confusing, and/or unfounded claims about their ingredients?

The doctors and staff at Bowman Animal Hospital are here to help you evaluate the information and products being disseminated in the media and on the internet. It is our duty to build a partnership with our clients and to guide them in creating an individualized diet plan for their pets. Whether you want to feed a commercial diet or pepare homemade meals, it is our responsibility to help you make the most educated and fact-based decisions regarding your pet’s nutrition.

Our ten doctors have worked as a team to come up with nutritionally balanced meal options for your pets. Diet requirements may differ for older, sick and overweight pets, so they have evaluated veterinary prescription diets and recipe options to treat a variety of medical conditions and diseases, from food allergies to diabetes.
